Fat Gripz

£25.00

  Fat Gripz –
Fat Gripz are now commonly found in commercial gyms all over the globe, and there’s a reason why pro bodybuilders and athletes endorse them, and no, that reason isn’t just money. Fat Gripz are incredibly simple in design, but don’t let that fool you, because when used as part of a resistance training workout, they’re incredibly effective. Basically, they’re small silicon tubes that attach to bars and handles of dumbbells, barbells, and gym machines essentially making the bar fatter. This means your grip is altered. Fat Grips recruit more muscle fibres when performing basically exercises, resulting in more muscle growth. They also increase forearm size and grip strength as well.

Barbell pad –
If you’re looking to get more from your barbell workouts, but don’t want to hurt yourself when performing various uncomfortable barbell exercises, a barbell pad is perfect. Barbell pads attach to barbells to offer a layer of cushioning between you and the bar. Barbell squats for example, can be painful as the heavy metal bar digs into your traps and shoulders. When you use a barbell pad, you can perform the exercise without the pain and discomfort. You can also use the pad for exercises such as: Barbell walking lunges and Glute bridges.

  Lifting chalk –
If you’re a serious lifter and happen to be training to improve your strength as well as your physique, lifting chalk is a must. Powerlifters, strongmen, and Olympic lifters especially, will benefit from lifting chalk. Best purchased in blocks as opposed to powdered, which can get everywhere and make a mess, lifting chalk is applied to the skin and clothing to improve grip strength, to absorb sweat, and to prevent the bar from slipping. It is cheap, easy to use, and if you use chalk blocks, it makes far less mess in your home gym as well.

Olympic collars –
Finally, the last accessory that we’re going to look at today is the humble Olympic collars. If you’ve an Olympic weight set at home, or an Olympic plate-loaded machine, you will need strong and sturdy Olympic collars. These collars are designed to securely clip onto various Olympic bars to firmly and securely hold the weight plates in place. This not only helps to keep you safe during the lift, it also helps to keep you mentally focussed as you don’t need to worry about weight plates coming loose and clanging and banging.
